Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2 November 2026
In short: facilitatorjobs.com has no user accounts and no forms. Beyond what a web server needs to deliver a page, we only use analytics if you accept them in the banner, and we process the emails you choose to send us. We also email employers who advertise facilitator roles; that is explained below.
Who is responsible
Mussie Haile, trading as Guiding Ventures, Lohmühlenstraße 65, 12435 Berlin, Germany. Phone +49 176 87053245, email hello@facilitatorjobs.com.
Hosting and request logs
The site runs on Cloudflare Workers, provided by Cloudflare, Inc. (USA). Every request is processed by Cloudflare, including your IP address, the URL you requested, the time, your browser's user agent and the referring page. We need this to deliver the site and keep it secure and running. Request logs are turned on, and Cloudflare keeps them for no more than 7 days. Cloudflare serves each request from the data centre closest to you, which may be outside the EU.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is delivering the site and keeping it working and protected.
Cookies, analytics and your consent
We use no ads, no tracking pixels and no embedded content from other services, and fonts and images are served from this site. With your consent only, we use the analytics services below to count visits and see which pages help job seekers. Nothing from them loads until you click “Accept” in the banner. If you click “Reject” or make no choice, they don't run.
Legal basis: your consent, under § 25 (1) TDDDG for storing or reading information on your device, and Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR for the processing. You can withdraw it at any time, with effect for the future, under “Privacy settings” at the bottom of every page. We then remove the Google Analytics cookies from this site. Google may still receive the last events from the page on which you withdraw, covering your visit up to that moment; nothing is sent after that.
Your choice itself is saved in your browser's local storage under the key facilitatorjobs-consent, so we don't ask on every page. It holds only which categories you accepted and when. This is strictly necessary to respect your choice (§ 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG). We ask again after about 12 months, or when we change the list of services.
Google Analytics
Provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; data may also be processed by Google LLC in the USA. After you accept, your browser loads Google's script from googletagmanager.com, which sets the cookies _ga (distinguishes browsers) and _ga_<ID> (keeps the session), each for 2 years, and sends page views and device information to Google. Google states that Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. We have turned Google signals and advertising features off in the code. Google keeps event data for the retention period set in our Google Analytics property; Google offers 2 or 14 months, so at most 14 months. Transfers to the USA are based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR) and Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 (2) (c) GDPR).
Links to other sites
Our guides link to their sources and to other organisations' websites. Once you follow a link, that site's own privacy policy applies, and we receive nothing back.
Contacting us by email
If you email us, including as an employer asking about a listing, we process your email address, your name if you give it, and your message. Mail to hello@facilitatorjobs.com is received by Cloudflare Email Routing (Cloudflare, Inc., USA), which forwards it to our inbox at Google Workspace (Google Ireland Ltd and Google LLC, USA). Cloudflare states that it does not store or access the emails it forwards. We use your email only to answer it. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your message relates to a contract or steps before one, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (answering the messages we receive).
If we email you about listing a job
We contact employers who are advertising facilitator roles to offer them a listing. For that we use business contact details: your name, your work email address, your employer and the role you are hiring for. We take them from public sources, such as the job ad itself, your organisation's website or a public professional profile, and we say in our email where we found the role. We send these emails from our Google Workspace mailbox and keep a simple record of whom we contacted, when, and the reply.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is offering employers a listing for a role they are already advertising. We delete your details when you ask us not to contact you again, and otherwise 12 months after our last contact, unless you become a customer. If you reply "no thanks" or object in any other way, we stop at once and keep only what we need to make sure we don't contact you again.
Recipients and transfers outside the EU
- Cloudflare, Inc. (USA): hosting, request logs and email forwarding. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR); its data processing agreement with Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 (2) (c) GDPR) is part of its terms.
- Google Ireland Ltd and Google LLC (USA): email (Google Workspace), and Google Analytics with your consent. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR), and Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 (2) (c) GDPR) apply.
How long we keep data
- Request logs: no more than 7 days, then deleted by Cloudflare.
- Your consent choice: in your browser until you change it, at most about 12 months.
- Google Analytics: cookies up to 2 years in your browser (removed when you withdraw consent here); event data at Google for at most 14 months (the retention set in our Google Analytics property).
- Emails: deleted once the matter is done, unless commercial or tax retention periods (German Commercial Code, HGB, and Fiscal Code, AO) require us to keep them until those periods end.
- Business contacts we emailed about a listing: 12 months after our last contact, or at once when you object (we then keep only your email address on a do-not-contact list).
Your rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), correction (Art. 16), deletion (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20), and you can withdraw consent at any time, with effect for the future, under “Privacy settings” at the bottom of every page (Art. 7 (3)). Email hello@facilitatorjobs.com to use them.
Your right to object (Art. 21 GDPR)
Where we process your data on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, you have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation. We then stop unless we can show compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing is needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. This covers the request logs and emails processed on that basis.
If we emailed you to offer a listing, you can object to that at any time without giving a reason (Art. 21 (2) and (3) GDPR). Reply "no thanks" or email hello@facilitatorjobs.com, and we will not contact you again.
Right to complain
You may complain to a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit, Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin, Germany, www.datenschutz-berlin.de.
